Gayrat Shoumarov Rector of the Tashkent branch of Profi University

Shoumarov Gayrat Bakhromovich is the Rector of “Profi University.” He is an Uzbek scholar, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, and a member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan — an Academician. He is considered the founder of the scientific school of family studies within the field of psychology in Uzbekistan.

Gayrat Shoumarov has authored a number of textbooks for school students on healthy lifestyles, health, and family issues; he is also one of the authors of the textbooks “Family Psychology” and “The Eastern Family,” taught in academic lyceums and vocational colleges, as well as books such as the “National Encyclopedia of Uzbekistan,” “Women’s Encyclopedia,” and “Children’s Encyclopedia.” Under his supervision and in collaboration with him, many scientific and popular science books in the field of psychology have been prepared. He is also the author of more than 70 educational and methodological manuals and over 400 scientific articles.
