Can I go to Profi University for a second degree?

Yes, from September 2023, applicants wishing to enter a second degree at Profi University will have to go through the same admission process as applicants who have graduated from another college/centre/school.

Is the original diploma required on application?

No, you need to upload a scanned version of your degree when you apply online. You will be asked to bring the original once you have successfully passed your exams and become a university student.

Is it compulsory for applicants to provide a foreign language certificate?

There are no foreign language requirements for university applicants. Those with an IELTS of 5.5 or CEFR B1, however, are admitted to university without an entrance exam.

What is the procedure for the entrance examination?

For the academic year 2023-2024, admission to Profi University will be based on a test:

What is the procedure for applying to university?

Applicants apply online through the university's official website: https://profiuniversity.uz

When will the results of the entrance exams be announced?

The final results of the entrance examination will be calculated and the answers will be sent to each applicant's registered number by SMS.

Can the applicant send the original documents by fax or online?

No, prospective students will be asked to bring their original documents in person.

How long does it take to study at Profi University?

The duration of studies at the university is 4 years for full-time students and 5 years for part-time students. Students will also be sent on an annual internship.

Are there any additional documents required once I have entered university?

Yes, upon completion of the admission process, applicants must bring the following original documents to the university in order to obtain a fee agreement:

  • Military ID (for boys only);
  • Original college/center diploma or high school diploma.
  • Photo 3.5 × 4.5 (4 pcs.)
I am currently a university student. Can I transfer to Profi University?

Yes, of course. The university administration may consider transfer applications. However, each student must meet all the requirements for transfer.

Is it necessary to nostrify a Profi University diploma in Uzbekistan?

No. If you want to work in government and non-government organisations, nostrification of the diploma is not required.

What does the annual contract amount include?

The annual fee is only directed towards the costs of training.

Is there an age limit for admission to a Profi University?

Profi University is categorically against age discrimination. According to the Education Act, anyone, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity, has the right to apply to higher education institutions, and all students are also guaranteed equal treatment.

I am a citizen of another country (not Uzbekistan). Can I apply as a foreign student?

Yes, you can apply as an international student. However, the admission process will be the same as for other regular applicants.

Can university students transfer their studies to other universities?

University students may transfer to another university. The transfer process is carried out accordingly by decree of the Ministry of Higher Education.

Is the university degree valid in Uzbekistan and other countries?

Yes. The university offers diplomas at the same level as state universities.

In what language are classes taught at university?

At Profi University you can choose to study in Uzbek or Russian.

Does the university provide a dormitory for students?

From the academic year 2023-2024, a dormitory for students may be commissioned.

When does the fee for the training contract expire?

At least 50% of the contract fee for the academic year 2023-2024 must be paid by 30 September 2023.

Do university graduates have the opportunity to work abroad?

University graduates can work in foreign companies if they have high qualifications and knowledge of foreign languages. However, the university is focused on training highly qualified specialists for the Uzbek economy and does not encourage students to work abroad. There is a constant need for highly educated and professional personnel who can work in highly paid jobs without having to leave their home country.

What documents do I need to apply for university?

Documents are accepted after an examination and interview:

- Passport;

- College/center diploma or school certificate;

- Photo 3.5 × 4.5 (must be taken on a white clean background and within the last 3 months).

How much does a contract at Profi University cost?

The annual fee of the University for citizens of Uzbekistan is:

  • Primary Education - 20,900,000 sum for full-time study, 19,900,000 sum for evening study and 14,300,000 sum for part-time study.
  • Preschool education - 20 900 000 sum for full-time education, 19 900 000 sum for evening classes, 14 300 000 sum for extramural education.
  • Education pedagogy-psychology - 20 900 000 sums for full-time education, 19 900 000 sum for evening classes, 14 300 000 sum for extramural education.
  • Education Management - 23 100 000 sum for full-time education, 22 100 000 sum for part-time education.
  • English Language and Literature - 23 100 000 sum for full-time education, 22 100 000 sum for evening classes.
  • Russian Language and Literature - 23 100 000 sum for full-time education, 22 100 000 sum for evening classes.
  • Uzbek Language and Literature - 23 100 000 sum for full-time tuition, 22 100 000 sum for evening classes.
