Which subjects are taken in the entrance exam?

Two subjects are tested:

Russian Language and Literature
30 questions × 3.9 points = 117 points

English
30 questions × 2.4 points = 72 points

Total score — 189
Passing score — 80

Are the national Russian language certificate and IELTS or CEFR certificates in English taken into account?

Yes, if the following conditions are met, the national certificate in Russian and the IELTS or CEFR certificate in English are accepted instead of entrance exams:

Certificate requirements:

– The certificate must be valid (not expired)
– It must have at least a 60% result in the subject

Example 1 — certificate in only the first subject:
If you have a certificate in Russian,
you take the exam only in English.
Russian language score:
60% × 117 = 70.2 points

Example 2 — certificate only in English:
If you have a certificate in English,
you take the exam only in Russian.
English language score:
72 points (maximum)

Example 3 — certificates in both subjects:
If you have a 60% Russian certificate and an English certificate,
you do not take the exam at all. The scores are calculated as follows:

Russian language: 70.2 points
English language: 72 points
Total score: 142.2 points

To have certificates taken into account, they must be submitted in advance to the admission committee via the personal account or by phone/Telegram.

The university verifies the authenticity and validity period of all certificates and makes the final decision.

Is the national Russian language certificate taken into account?

Yes, if the following conditions are met, the national Russian language certificate is accepted instead of the entrance exam:

In which language is the education conducted?

Education in the Russian Language and Literature program is conducted in Russian.

What is the contract price and what payment options are available?

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the tuition fee for the Russian Language and Literature program is 25,410,000 UZS.

The university offers the following flexible payment options:

100% advance payment:

Until July 31 — 25% discount → 19,057,000 UZS
Until September 30 — 20% discount → 20,328,000 UZS

Payment in 2 installments:

10% discount → total amount: 22,869,000 UZS
1st installment: 11,434,500 UZS — until September 30
2nd installment: 11,434,500 UZS — until January 30

Payment in 4 installments (no discount):

Total amount: 25,410,000 UZS
1st installment: 6,352,500 UZS — until September 30
2nd installment: 6,352,500 UZS — until November 30
3rd installment: 6,352,500 UZS — until January 31
4th installment: 6,352,500 UZS — until March 31

What is the procedure for obtaining and extending a scholarship and a grant?

At Profi University, there are two types of financial support available:

Scholarship — 600,000 UZS per month
The scholarship is awarded to:

Applicants who scored more than 100 points on the entrance exam
Students who achieved high positions in the internal ranking-based scholarship exam

The scholarship is granted for one semester.
The internal exam is held after each semester, twice a year.

During the exam, all participants take the following tests:

Questions on major subjects
IQ test
GPA (grade point average) is taken into account

The system is dynamic:

If a student’s performance decreases, the scholarship is canceled
A student who previously studied without a scholarship may obtain one by achieving high results

Grant — free tuition + 600,000 UZS monthly scholarship
The grant exam is held once a year, in August.

To participate, an applicant must score at least 110 points on the entrance exam.

The grant exam includes:

The same tasks for all participants
IQ test
Certificates and privileges are not taken into account

The grant is awarded for one academic year.
If the student maintains high academic performance, the grant is extended for the next year.

Students studying on a contract basis may also transfer to a grant the following year if their ranking results exceed those of current grant holders.

When does the academic year start and end?

Classes for students begin in the second week of September.

Throughout the year, semester classes, midterm and final exams, as well as mandatory internships, are conducted.

Are school grades taken into account during admission?

Yes, when applying to Profi University, school grades may affect the final result.

Additional percentages are added as follows:

If there are no “3” grades on the school certificate, +5% is added to the final score
If all grades are “5”, +10% is added

During the document submission process, the school certificate is обязательно checked by the admission committee.

When and how should the payment be made after admission?

After you are admitted to the university and receive the contract, you must pay a reservation fee of 980,000 UZS within 5 working days.

This amount is included in the total contract price and will be deducted from it.

The remaining payment must be made before the start of the academic year, according to the selected payment method (100%, 2 installments, or 4 installments).

Important: if the contract is canceled, the reservation fee is non-refundable.

What should I do if I fail to get admitted on the first attempt?

If you did not score enough points to pass, you may retake the entrance exam.

To do this:

Log in to your personal account on the university website and change the exam date
If any issues arise, contact the call center and they will assist you

Where is the education conducted?

Main classes are held at the Bektemir campus (Husayn Boyqaro Street, building 117).
Foreign language classes are conducted at the Beruniy campus, as the language department is located there.

The class schedule is arranged so that all classes in one day take place at only one campus:

If the first class is at Bektemir, then all classes for that day will be held at Bektemir.
If the first class is at Beruniy, studies will continue at that campus for the entire day.

Practical training is conducted in public and private schools.

What documents are required and how can one apply for admission?

Come to the entrance exam (the nearest exam is on June 1 at 09:00).

If you are admitted, go to the admission committee to receive the contract.

Required documents:

Passport (ID card)
School certificate or diploma
If the school certificate has not yet been received, a certificate from the school confirming completion of grade 11

Until when do the entrance exams continue?

Entrance exams are held from June to September.
However, in faculties where the allocated quotas are filled earlier, the exams may end sooner. Therefore, it is recommended to participate in the exams as early as possible and, if you are recommended for admission, to obtain the contract early and reserve your place.

Why is it necessary to pay the reservation fee to participate in the grant exam?

Because we allocate grant places only for students who have chosen us.
Those who pay the reservation fee are considered students who have chosen Profi University.

Is a uniform required at Profi University?

At our university, a mandatory single uniform has not been introduced for students of many programs.
We support an appearance that is appropriate for an academic environment and promotes neatness.

What is the procedure for the entrance examination?

For the academic year 2025-2026, admission to Profi University will be based on a test:

When will the results of the entrance exams be announced?

The final results of the entrance examination will be calculated and the answers will be sent to each applicant's registered number by SMS.

What documents do I need to apply for university?

Documents are accepted after an examination and interview:

- Passport;

- College/center diploma or school certificate;

- Photo 3.5 × 4.5 (must be taken on a white clean background and within the last 3 months).

What is the procedure for applying to university?

Are there any additional documents required once I have entered university?

Yes, upon completion of the admission process, applicants must bring the following original documents to the university in order to obtain a fee agreement:

Military ID (for boys only);
Original college/center diploma or high school diploma.
Photo 3.5 × 4.5 (4 pcs.)

Can the applicant send the original documents by fax or online?

No, prospective students will be asked to bring their original documents in person.

How long does it take to study at Profi University?

The duration of studies at the university is 4 years for full-time students and 5 years for part-time students. Students will also be sent on an annual internship.

Is there a dormitory for students at the university?

Profi University has a dormitory with 600 places.

In what language are classes taught at university?

At Profi University you can choose to study in Uzbek or Russian.

Is the university degree valid in Uzbekistan and other countries?

Yes. The university offers diplomas at the same level as state universities.

Is it necessary to nostrify a Profi University diploma in Uzbekistan?

No. If you want to work in government and non-government organisations, nostrification of the diploma is not required.

I am currently a university student. Can I transfer to Profi University?

Yes, of course. The university administration may consider transfer applications. However, each student must meet all the requirements for transfer.

Can university students transfer their studies to other universities?

University students may transfer to another university. The transfer process is carried out accordingly by decree of the Ministry of Higher Education.

Do university graduates have the opportunity to work abroad?

University graduates can work in foreign companies if they have high qualifications and knowledge of foreign languages. However, the university is focused on training highly qualified specialists for the Uzbek economy and does not encourage students to work abroad. There is a constant need for highly educated and professional personnel who can work in highly paid jobs without having to leave their home country.

I am a citizen of another country (not Uzbekistan). Can I apply as a foreign student?

Yes, you can apply as an international student. However, the admission process will be the same as for other regular applicants.

Is there an age limit for admission to a Profi University?

Profi University is categorically against age discrimination. According to the Education Act, anyone, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity, has the right to apply to higher education institutions, and all students are also guaranteed equal treatment.
