Frequently asked questions

Учебный год начинается и заканчивается?

Занятия для студентов начинаются со второй недели сентября.

📅 В течение года проводятся семестровые занятия, промежуточные и итоговые экзамены, а также обязательные практики.

The duration of study in the General Medicine program is 6 years.
The mode of study is full-time, and mandatory attendance is required for all classes, laboratory work, practical training, and clinical rotations.

The curriculum includes both core theoretical subjects and practical medical training.

Two subjects are tested:

Biology — 30 questions × 3.9 points = 117 points
Chemistry — 30 questions × 2.4 points = 72 points

Total score — 189
Passing score — 100

No.
When applying to the General Medicine program, only national certificates in Biology and Chemistry are taken into account, provided they meet the required conditions.

English language certificates (IELTS, CEFR) or other international or subject-specific certificates do not affect the admission process and cannot replace the entrance exams.

Yes. If the following conditions are met, national certificates in Biology and Chemistry may be accepted instead of the entrance exams.

Certificate requirements:
– The certificate must be valid (not expired)
– The result must be at least 60%

Example 1 — Certificate only in Chemistry:
If you have a Chemistry certificate with a 60% result, you will take the exam only in Biology.
Calculation: 60% × 72 = 43.2 points

Example 2 — Certificate only in Biology:
If you have a Biology certificate with a 70% result, you will take the exam only in Chemistry.
Calculation: 70% × 117 = 81.9 points

Example 3 — Certificates in both subjects:
If you have Biology (70%) and Chemistry (60%) certificates, you do not need to attend the entrance exam.
Calculation:
Biology: 70% × 117 = 81.9 points
Chemistry: 60% × 72 = 43.2 points
Total score: 125.1 points

To have the certificates considered, they must be submitted in advance to the admissions committee via the personal account or by phone/Telegram.

The university verifies the authenticity and validity period of all certificates and makes the final decision.

After the start of studies, depending on the students’ level of English proficiency, a separate group with instruction in English may also be formed.
These groups are also formed separately for Uzbek-speaking and Russian-speaking students and are not mixed.
